I am Nick Calvo, a 26-year-old majoring in digital media innovation at Texas State University. In 2019, I faced a challenging diagnosis of B-cell lymphoma while pursuing my studies. This led to a temporary withdrawal from my academic pursuits as I returned home to confront this isolating journey.
Besides my studies, I'm really into creative stuff and tech. I spend time playing around with Photoshop and 3D design projects, creating digital art that's both fun and fulfilling. When I'm not in front of the screen, I love outdoor activities like golf and disc golf to keep active and enjoy the fresh air.
My academic journey began at Lone Star College, where I developed foundational skills in digital communication, gaining insights into multimedia dynamics and collaborative project execution. This experience paved the way for my transition to Texas State University, where I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Digital Media Innovation.
